Presentation of the Consensus Outlook, 23 Nov 2022, online
The 21st Session of the ASEANCOF will be hosted by Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) and conducted online. The ASEAN Climate Outlook Forum (ASEANCOF) activities support decision making to manage climate-related risks by providing climate services that aims to provide collaboratively developed and consensus based seasonal climate outlooks and related information on a regional scale. These help assess climate vulnerabilities, improve the understanding of local climate conditions and its impacts, and enhance the adaptation planning to support sustainable development.
ASEANCOF-21 marks 10 years since the first ASEANCOF was held in December 2013. To commemorate the milestone, ASEANCOF-21 focus on ‘the future of climate services in Southeast Asia’. Along with presentations from users on their reflections on the future of climate services, the consensus outlook for December 2023 – February 2024 and a review of June – August 2023 will also be presented.
