Theme: The proposed theme for this upcoming ASEANCOF is climate services for the agricultural sector, in particular those based on seasonal outlooks. NMHSs will be invited to share national level forecasts they provide for the agriculture sector, as well as ideas on how ASEANCOF can support further development of climate services in this area. On the final day of the online forum, end user representatives from the agriculture community will be invited to discuss and give their perspectives of these climate services. The benefits and requirements of the products proposed are to be explored.

Training: An introduction session on FOCUS: Seasonal FOrecast CUStomization tool developed for the SASCOF region to further Operational Seasonal Forecasting practices in COFs will be led by RIMES on 22 November 2022.  

Participation: For the first three days: All ASEAN NMHSs, as well as ASEANCOF Working Group (AWG) members, GPCs, international experts, and other end users through invitation. Final day: All ASEAN NMHSs, user representatives related to agriculture community, both at the national level and regional level, as well as researchers with an interest in the topic are welcome to register (further details provided in the link below).
